The Direct Model provides you absolute flexibility in implementing your application workflow and layout design while providing a wide range of payment features. For credit card payment, PCI DSS compliance is required as the sensitive payment data will be processed in your system.

Security#
- Payment Card: The Direct Model supports 3-D Secure (3DS) security verification to protect your payment. You need to implement 3DS verification steps by requesting the 3DS challenge page on your side and presenting it for the customer to input.
- Digital Wallet: The authentication process is conducted by the wallet's service provider through biometric authentication or username/password.
Payment Flow#
As merchant is allowed to implement own workflow using direct mode, there are extra steps required to process different types of payment. In next section, detailed flow for each step will be provided for completing the integration.
